George Ivan Hagadone

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16, from the Moon Chapel for George Ivan Hagadone, 87, of Sandpoint, who died at Bonner General Hospital on Monday. The Rev. Fred Rarden, First Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Hagadone was born on Aug. 2, 1880, at Lexington, Neb. He was married to Lula Stellpflue at Winona, Min., in November of 1903. They homesteaded in eastern Montana. The family came to Sandpoint in 1919. They operated a dairy farm until 1948. Survivors include his wife, Lula, at their home; three sons, Wilbur, John and Wayne Hagadone, all of Sandpoint; and two daughters, Mrs. Hobart Culley and Mrs. Ada Phillips, both of Sandpoint; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kull of Bell, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death.

Moon's Funeral Home announces the passing of George Ivan Hagadone, 87, who died yesterday in Sandpoint. He married Lula Stellpflue in Winona, Minn. in 1903. They homesteaded in Eastern Montana until they moved to Sandpoint in 1919 where they operated a dairy farm until 1948. Survivors include his wife, Lula, at the home in Sandpoint; 3 sons, Wilbur, John and Wayne; 2 daughters, Mrs. Hobart Culley and Mrs. Ada Phillips, all of Sandpoint; 1 sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kull of Bell, California; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Moon Chapel with Rev. Fred Rarder of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
