Former Resident Passes In Idaho
Mrs. Otto Stockman, age 77, passed away July 7th at a Sandpoint hospital
after a lingering illness. She was a resident of Sprague from 1901 to 1913
when the family moved to Idaho, and had resided at Kootenai since 1916. She
is survived by her husband, Otto; five children, August Stockman of Turtle
Lake, Wis.; Fred, Ben and (Private) Stockman
of Kootenai and Mrs. Tracy Giffing of Sprague, also seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Sandpoint July 10 at 2 p.m. with interment in
the Sandpoint cemetery. Mrs. Giffing went to Sandpoint Sunday to assist
with burial arrangements and again on Tuesday for the funeral services.
Mr. Giffing was unable to attend because of their son Jimmie's illness.
