Lawrence E. Hagadone

Lawrence E. Hagadone, 62, who has resided at 1023 1st Ave. E., Kalispell, died last Thursday evening. He was born July 5, 1912, at Monico, Wis., a son of Dugald and Mary Hagadone. As an infant, he moved with his family to Montana where they lived in Culbertson and later at Poplar. Mr. Hagadone was a construction supt. and had been employed by J. A. Thompson Construction of Calif. and Hawaii for many years prior to his retirement. About 1 1/2 years ago he moved to Kalispell where he had since resided. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Kalispell and a 30-year member of the Carpenters Union. He was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army. On Sept. 8, 1957, he was married to Jayne Louise Gist in Las Vegas, Nev. and was preceded in death by her in 1964. On Sept. 26, 1964, he was married to (Private) and is now survived by her at the family home. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Hagadone of Poplar, (Private); five brothers, Thorwald, William, (Private) all of Poplar, (Private) of Wolf Point, and Myron Hagadone of Kalispell; one sister, (Private); many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and several great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his father and one sister, Vernie. Funeral services for Mr. Hagadone were held in the Trinity Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. on Monday with the Rev. H. Harold Huber officiating.
