Sharon Ann Stellpflug Dies Very Suddenly
Funeral services were held July 6 at Trempealeau at St. Bartholomew's
Catholic Church for Sharon Ann, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray
Stellpflug. Services were conducted at 9 a.m. by the Rev. J. T. Murphy, and
burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Sharon Ann, aged two and one-half
years, died July 3, about noon at the Arcadia hospital, from a ruptured
appendix. She had been ill only a few days. The child was born Jan. 17,
1942, at Trempealeau, and lived her brief life there, youngest of a family of
nine children. Surviving are her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Brothers are Pfc. William, serving with American forces in Iran; Leland, a
student at Crosier Seminary, Onamia, Minn.;
(Private) at home. Three children died in
infancy. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Stellpflug and Mrs. Maggie
Woestman, all of Trempealeau.
